Knitted Knockers for Breast Cancer Awareness

When: Tuesday from 10:00am-8:00pm

This year, The Knitting Room will be dedicating every Tuesday during October to Knitted Knockers charity knitting.

Not sure what Knitted Knockers are? They’re handmade breast prosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. Since they are knit, Knitted Knockers are a soft and comfortable alternative to traditional breast prosthetics.

We’d love for you to help make Knitted Knockers to donate, but please be aware there are specific yarns that must be used when knitting them. A list of approved yarns can be found on the Knitted Knockers website, but one of these yarns is Bamboo Pop, and we’ll be offering 20% off for those making Knitted Knockers.
